Fall Semester 2010 (Click here for schedule/specific classes.)
- Term 1: Beginning August 23, 2010
The purpose and intention of the school is to provide sound biblical and practical applications to various ministry disciplines within the local body. We endeavor to equip each student with the necessary instruction and applications to cause them to be an asset to their local body and the church at large. This school was conceived in the heart of Ephesians 4:11-16 - that all the saints of God be equipped to do the work of the ministry in the body of God’s Holy Son, Jesus. The goal of our standards is to build the Lord’s body: “...until we all arrive at the unity implied by knowing and trusting the Son of God, at full manhood, at the standard of maturity set by the Messiah’s perfection” (Ephesians 4:13b).
Our curriculum is designed to help the student hear God’s voice more clearly through His written Word, the Voice of the Holy Spirit, and to build character through the practical application of doing the works of God. As part of that scenario, intimacy with God builds the personal relationship required for effective, powerful ministry in the body. This lays the foundation of the Word and the Spirit, not just imparting knowledge, but building character through God working in each student. In this orchestration, the student becomes an embodiment of his or her ministry gift or calling.
It is the intent of the school to provide leaders and teachers who have God’s heart not just be instructors in Christ, but fathers and mothers; who display the fruit of their own gifts and callings. (see 1 Corinthians 4:14,25) These fathers and mothers come from various backgrounds and denominations helping to bring balance and unity to the curriculum and final fruit of the school. Currently it is our hope to have special guests from well known ministries to bring impartation and wisdom in the various classes offered.
